Circle of Trust

I thank everyone who joined me this morning.

As I turn to the next chapter, I look back at yesterday with a sense of great gratitude. Things I did and said that I regret, are greatly outnumbered by things I’m happy that I said and did. It’s true when they say you rarely regret the things you did, but you always regret the things you didn’t do. 

I am where I am by the choices I made, whether those choices were right or wrong, it placed my foot firmly  where I now stand. I will not second guess what could’ve, would’ve, and should’ve been. For wherever I am now, God put me in this Sacred ground. 

As I move on into the twilight of my old age, my fear is not death itself. My fear is that my spirit  ceases the passion of

learning new, of continuing to grow. There is no sadder sight than a man who ceases to grow in mind, body and soul. So I will not go gently into that good night. I will keep the flame of life, to strive and get better even against the dying light.

Prayers

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;

Where there is hatred,

Let me sow love;

Where there is injury, pardon;

Where there is doubt, faith;

Where there is despair, hope;

Where there is darkness, light;

Where there is sadness, joy;

For it is in giving that we receive;

It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
