Introduction

I rolled into the parking lot at 6am, Toby was already onsite, told me he was excited and couldnt freakin sleep.

 

Toby and I headed out to the field by the bottom of the hill, and set up (2) 40×80 Yard Ultimate football field.  When we made it back to the flags, most PAX were already waiting anxiously to get the Games rolling

The Only thang……… Ultimate football Crossroads style.

  • Every time ball hits the ground (5) Burpees, all together, after 15 Minutes went down to (3) burpees, after 10 Minutes to (10) Squats after 10 Minutes to (10) Merkins— Ball hits the ground alot, have to keep changing it up.  Exercises were done all together on Q’s Count
  • Every time someone scored (10) Merkins, on Q’s Count
  • Keep running the entire game

Naked Man Moleskin

Today I want to talk to you about something that was talked about in Q-Source, and I thank 5-putt for bringing it up, Standards, here at F3, we have to take accountability and enforce the standards, lately its been more about how many reps, or how many rounds can I get in, and the form of the exercises has really just lacked.  And I am not saying everyone, or every time, but we have to get better at making sure we are doing the exercise to the standard.  We need to have the courage to tell others when they are falling short.  But you have to do it the right way, in a positive manner.  You dont want to just turn to someone and Say ‘Hey mother fucker you arent doing this right”  Say something positive like “Hey man I know you can go deeper than that (referring to an air squat)”

100 Reps the wrong way is only half the work of  100 reps the right way, the goal is to get better, to get stronger, so hold yourself to that, and meet the F3 standards.  An example is yesterday, we did a mini race at the end of Twighlight’s workout, and Skinner forgot to do the last run, so I just casually asked him, hey did you do that last run, and he knew he had forgotten, heck my own partner forgot and thought I had done too many, runs.  So things happen, when we get deep into workouts, when we are doing hundreds of reps, the person doing it may not even know his form has broken down, or that there was more to the round.  We just need to look out for each other and HELP each other.  Cause the plain fact is when you start going away from standards, that is a slippery slope and you really start to loose everything that has meaning.

Our Heavenly Father we thank you for this beautiful morning, a nice cool morning to play some ultimate football, Thank you for everyone that came out today to play.  We ask that you watch over all of us, watch over all of our F3 brothers, their friends and Family, and we all know someone that needs your extra prayers, we ask that you pay special attention to them.  We ask that you help us become better today than yesterday, In your name we pray Amen
