Mosey around southern half of AO to the field.
The Thang
3 lines of cones were set 20 yards apart with 1 cone set 100 yards out yonder.
Broke PAX into 4 man groups.
First race was bear crawls to 20 yard line then sprint to the finish, next Pax goes. Those waiting around held plank. When groups finished we ran around said cone down yonder.
2nd was sprints. Those not running, held plank. Then back around said cone.
Rhonda began to chirp about planks and no coupons. And, I couldn’t breath anymore.
3rd exercise was a snake plank all 40 yards and back. Then down yonder to the cone and back.
Think there was a 4th race but I was blacked out, maybe lunges.
Mosey back to flags for an early Mary. I could feel the disgust emanating from Babyhands when I said circle up for Mary at 5:48.
Ended the workout with a few minutes of stretches, something I doubt any of us do when we get home but it is critical part of recovery.
Circle of Trust
I spent the last few days looking for something profound to say. I came across this quote.
”There are two great days in a person’s life- the day we are born and the day we discover why.”
Today is my birthday, a celebration of the day I was born. But, as we get older birthdays lose their meaning and slowly become another day. My son’s birthday was a few weeks ago, that is a day I celebrate not only as his birthday but also as my rebirth date. He is the one that gives my life meaning and purpose. I ask you all to find what it is that you live for you and to celebrate it as you would your birthday.
