Introduction

Had a rough night of sleep planning to dedicate today’s workout to my brother Sean who recently passed. that said, we all know when that alarm goes off in the morning, the HIM’s of F3 rise to the sound because they know a number of their other brothers, are planning to rise with them…

I’m grateful for the 17 HIM’s that went out of their way to show up and not only get a beat down in, but to support each other today and every day. This is F3.

“Eat a Peach”

This was something my brother used to often say. It comes from the title of the Allman Brother’s 1972 album yet there’s more to it.

Eating a peach to some means to seize an opportunity, to do something difficult and/or to live life to the fullest. Eating a peach metaphorically takes risk. It can be spontaneous, unplanned, messy, awkwardly fuzzy, juices-ruining-your-shirt kind of experience. Yet it can also be something super sweet, memorable, and enjoyable with each bite. You get to choose.

My brother Sean was a good man. He loved Chicago, the BEARS, art itself, our family, friends, his two beautiful daughters Samantha and Melissa, his granddaughter and of course blues and classic rock. Notably Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pink Floyd, and The Allman Brothers Band to name a few.

He was far from perfect but that’s what made him unique. Like many of us he went through challenges however he leaves us with the reminder to do one thing…

“Eat a Peach”

I’m not saying to take unnecessary risks, I’m saying to experience life, don’t over think things, enjoy things not matter how good or bad they might be. You get to choose.

Lastly…Sean became a grand father in May and there’s only one picture of him and his grand daughter Adelynn. Just one.

We never know gentleman when we might get that one chance, that one opportunity, that one shot to experience in life. You get to choose. And yet, sometimes you don’t.

So make the most of it and once again, in memory of my brother Sean…

“Eat a Peach”

I’m very thankful for the PAX that came out today or sent messages in support. Thank you so much.

Prayers and RIP my brother.
