Introduction

We learned last week that there is a 6th parking garage in downtown Naperville. Never been there? Me either. Those who joined me at DT and went on a trek to find the elusive 6th garage together.  It’s a little under a mile away to the double decker garage on the North Central Campus. Leave your coupons at home.

Circle of Trust

My daughter turns 16 today. We are taking her to take the drivers test later. The Kids getting older never affected me much but this year has been different. Ive spent a lot of time in the car driving my daughter to school, countless soccer and basketball practices. Although I would complain at times about the hours spent driving, I took the advice of a good friend who told me to look at that time as an opportunity to spend more time with your kids. I think about the talks we’ve had and the bond we’ve formed from that time spent together. It seems weird that I won’t be driving her around much anymore and although I will have more free time. I don’t look at any of that as time wasted.

It was a crisp morning ITG.  Great day to keep moving to stay warm.  I kept thinking about a conversation I had with Sparky the other day about getting older and staying in shape to be active with your kids, grandkids and family.  As my daughter turns 16, I’m so grateful that F3 has helped get back into better shape.  I feel like I’m in the best shape of my life and able to stay an active part in my family’s life for a long time to come!

I’ve had a few heavier COTs lately.  Got a good idea for an important but sillier COT for my next one.
