01/08/2020 - Dark Tower - Dark Tower Run Club & Fight Club

Introduction

With a last minute clog in our guy FacePlant the Pax of DT had to modify and get creative.  Thanks to Nacho Libre and his glory days as a middle school prize fighter, we had the man for the job to step up and fill in.

The crowd joined, and we got down to business.

Circle of Trust

No one ever won an endurance event without coming out the other side without having thought about how much easier it would have been to quit, or how much pain they were in, or how much they just wanted to stop for a break.  But that isn’t what champions do, it isn’t what winners do, they don’t f-ing quit.  Make no mistake, we are all in a race every day, we are in the endurance event of life.  So if you want to have success.  You know the answer.  If your job is hard, your having marriage problems, your kids are challenging your sanity.  There is only one way to win at this race, and it is to not quit.  Embrace the challenge, lean forward, and dig in.  When you find yourself going uphill, that is the time to accelerate, that is what we train for, that is what makes us live.

Naked Man Moleskin

I am truly honored and humbled to have been granted the privilege of being entrusted with the HIM Belt from Cropduster.  F3 has been nothing short of a life changing experience for me and I would not be the same person without you all.  The last year has been rich with new relationships, new abilities, renewed faith and confidence and a true hunger for life.

I thank each and every Pax for your impact in my life and hope that I can be a part of sharing this same experience with the future pax of F3 Naperville.
