Introduction

Back to the Outpost!

Trying to branch out a bit from my typical haunts and get to some other AOs more often. I was happy to see that EOP was open for Q number 6 for me this week.

Honestly . . . I planned it to be harder. But I was too damn tired and lazy to put the big boy coupons in my car this morning . . . so everyone got a break.

As Im setting up I see two cars pulling in at 5am, and I think its the early arrivals for the beatdown.

NOPE

Its snorkle and Bozo getting ready for Teddys march. And lets be honest . . . Bozo and Snorkle are in such good shape I bet they were running the whole thing . .  with rucks . . . for 50 miles. After they took off at a brisck pace into the gloom, headlights started appearing in the distance.

The Thang

ONLY THANG.

20 coupon chest press

20 coupon lat pullovers (switch later in the sets to bent over rows if you cant do them anymore)

20 coupon goblet squats

20 coupon overhead press

20 coupon curls

Sandbag runs

  • First zig zags (total of 40 yards)
  • then a 30 yard sprint

Jump rope waiting for the 6, then start again as a team

See how many circuits we can complete

Circle of Trust

CoT today was about BURNOUT.

Everyone experiences burnout in their lives. It can be household duties, your marriage/relationship, work, etc. The key to NOT getting burnt out and starting to dislike something you enjoy is to recognize the warning signs and have the awareness to take a step back and re-energize yourself. Everyone needs to refill their tanks, and rediscover their spark that helps them get up every morning and attack the day with excitement and vigor. Im starting to get burnt out from Qing, so im taking a step back. I LOVE Qing . .  and I dont want to lose that love for putting together beatdowns. Personally, I also realized that I cant hit my own personal goals if I keep Qing at a ridiculous pace. So Im doing what I need to do to avoid total burnout.

Reassess if you are starting to go through the motions. Reassess if you need to rediscover your “spark”, no matter what that may be in your life.

Six Qs into the week. No wonder most people dont do this. Its very draining.

A freaking GREAT group of HIMs today for EOP. I cant wait to start hitting these other AOs more often and seeing these beasts ITG.

  • TPS Reports- despite still wearing a full hazmat suit, he is still putting in crazy work. He routinely was the first guy up and grabbing a sandbag for the runs.
  • Mi Hamm- Sorry .  . no live chicken needed. It seemed you were looking forward to that . . . I forgive you for leaving before CoT and a picture.
  • Blueprints- Great job calling guys out on FORM. Its something that we dont focus on enough, and its crucial to avoiding getting hurt.
  • Gaylord- Jeez you are a beast. Wearing a vest and destroying reps left and right.
  • Mellencamp- Holy CRAP man! I was not expecting you today after the week of craziness we have gone through. Truly thankful for you showing up today brother. You have been pure BEAST mode all week.
  • Woodwind- Another reason I need to post south more often is to work out with you my friend. Excellent site Q and appreciate the help cleaning up!
