Introduction

Question: Is it a Bike Club or a Ruck Club?  Answer: BOTH!!!!  This time though your options are; No Ruck, 10lbs, 20lbs or 30lbs (Vests work also). Planning to start promptly at 5:15am, arrive at 5:00am if you want to do some stretching ahead of time.  If there is rain then this will be a Ruck only club, no bikes.  I will update around 430/445am based on what I see out my window

Warm-O-Rama

We stretched and warmed up ahead of time.  Instructions were given in place of warm up to get moving quickly

The Thang

There are 3 legs
1st – From Complex parking lot down the trail towards Knoch Knolls but take the left and head to the bridge.  When you make it to the bridge do 40 shoulder taps (each side is 1/2) minus how much weight you are carrying (ie if you have a 30lb ruck you do 10 shoulder taps, if you have a 20lb ruck you do 20 shoulder taps, if you have no ruck you do 40 shoulder taps).  Head back to the complex parking lot and do a set of 40 merkins minus your extra weight.
2nd – From Complex parking lot down the trail towards Whalon Lake but stop at the parking lot on the left (about halfway to the lake).  Do another set of 40 shoulder taps (each side is 1/2) minus your weight.  Back to the Complex parking lot, another set of 40 merkins minus your weight.
3rd – From Complex parking lot to Knoch Knolls parking lot. Do another set of 40 shoulder taps (each side is 1/2) minus your weight.  Back to the Complex parking lot, another set of 40 merkins minus your weight.
Bonus – If you complete all that see how many loops you can do on the Complex path around the baseball fields.

Naked Man Moleskin

I picked up this Q earlier this week and had this rough plan in my head ahead of time.  Then there was potential rain so I had to think of a rucking only plan.  Then there was potential lightning so then I had to think of a Coupon under the Pavilion plan.  In the end it was a perfect morning for a ride.

Overall this went well though I should have planned another mile or more PT as I didn’t account for last time we took rucks off for the PT which added in delays and this time we kept them on.  We did a little mary and then ended up doing 2 laps around the baseball fields for a cool down.  There were some suggestions of trying to work in the off road paths or changing the start point to somewhere near Greene Valley.  Also it was noted there was a lack of stargazers at the end.
