Circle of Trust

Eagle Brook Church –  Soul Repair – Last weekend’s sermon was titled “I’m Tired”

For many of you, this type of day may sound familiar. After hitting snooze a few times…you grab for your phone to see the text messages and emails that you missed overnight.  You then get your mind ready and body ready for the workout or workday ahead.  For those working a day job, your 8 to 5 is filled up before you’re even on the clock.  You rush home from work and scramble to put dinner together.  You shuffle kids around to their activities and hopefully get everyone in the house to bed at a decent time, leaving less than 8 hours of sleep before you need to do it again.  We are all busy, but if we don’t take the time to build margin and prioritize tasks, stress levels could remain high, relationships will be sacrificed and your mental and physical health will suffer.

  • Check Your Speed
    • You can’t multitask 2 things that require attention
    • Speed Kills relationships
    • Hurry Destroys your soul
  • Find your Rhythm
    • Ensure that you find a good balance with rest and recovery
  • Trust in the Lord
