Introduction

PREBLAST – THE COMPLEX – 2/25/21 @ 5:15a RUCK CLUB

Well don’t you know
That’s the sound of the men
Working on the chain, gang
That’s the sound of the men
Working on the chain, gang

Don’t be the missing link. Come strengthen the chain as we celebrate the birthdays of Nature Boy Rick Flair and Ron Santo as well as help YHC turn the page.

If you want to try ruck club, but don’t have a ruck mention it in the thread and we’ll do our best to get you something – even if it’s just a backpack with a plate or dumbbell.

__________

Good morning, I’m Turner and today’s Site-Q is Sparky.
1. Welcome to F3. This is a free, outdoor, participant-led, boot camp-style workout that is open to all men and that ends with a circle of trust
2. You are here of your own voluntary choice and at your own risk
3. I am not a professional and I am not aware of any injuries you may have
4. Be aware of your own fitness and modify any exercise as needed, but know you will only get stronger if you push yourself
Any FNGs? No.

In the Bible, in Hebrews, it says that ‘let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching’.

I’m grateful for F3 where I am encouraged and inspired by so many guys who are committed to spurring others on toward love and good deeds. It is good to do good deeds and it is also good to remember to encourage others to do good deeds. I’m glad Belichick is here because he’s a great example for us all with the way he is so willing to serve others and to be an encouragement to us all.

It’s good to remember that we are blessed to come out in the gloom, meet with others, get encouraged, and encourage others. It is also good to remember the object isn’t just for us to be filled, but that by being filled we can go forth and fill others. Lots of great examples of that in our group.

So, as I turn the page on another year, I’m thankful for this F3 tribe, for you guys, and shout out to Hooch for sharing F3 with me.

7. Prayer

God, there is none like you. We praise you this morning and marvel at your creation. Thank you for blessing us with these machines that perform better the harder we work them and for the positive relationships and opportunities to work together for positive impact. We pray that we will serve others where there are needs and seek help when we need it. We pray that COVID would go away and lift up the prayer requests that have gone unspoken. Continue to bless us and favor us Lord and help us serve others, in your name, Amen.

Naked Man Moleskin

Lessons
1. The black ice was treacherous in spots and there were a couple spills. Hope everyone is OK.
2. Wasn’t sure whether this plan was going to work. I think it went OK. Pleased with the ground we covered. May try it again without ice.
3. My counting was rough, both leading the cadence and in Count-O-Rama. Might help if I participated in counting more often when non-Q.
4. Face Plant & Putz fart sacks? Missed seeing those HIMs.

Thanks
1. Sparky for having my 6, checking-in to make sure I was prepared, scouting the path for ice, and brining me cannoli from Zeppe’s for my bday – what a HIM!
2. Hooch for EHing me and encouraging me continuously since I started
3. My guy, Mia Hamm, for joining and for being such an exemplary F3 HIM. So cool looking out in the gloom at 42 and seeing a friend I’ve had since we were 11.
4. My spirit animal, Ann Arbor (thanks too for the coffee)
5. For everyone who came out today; especially guys who are doing Ruck Wars tomorrow, you are seriously committed, well done.
