Introduction

Posted on Preblast” VQ: It’s time to give back; it’s YHC’s turn to serve…it’s your turn to push a fellow PAX past his limits…let’s do it together!”

Perfect 28 degree morning, with no wind. Showed up to set up for VQ and Sam Walton was leaving on an EC. YHC considered joining him but Mr. Walton took off like a rocket ship. Sparky showed up @ 5:00am and likely noticed YHC’s nervous energy. In veteran fashion, Sparky pulled out football and we played catch for 10 minutes!

Circle of Trust

Thank you to the PAX that have welcomed me into this community and treated me with respect and encouraged me.

Discussed a very influential coach at North Central College and the impact he’s had on his student athletes. While he’s achieved a lot with his teams and athletics, he’s developed a long lineage of quality leaders. This coach challenged his athletes to set their “personal best” everyday. That personal best can include: being more empathetic, being more kind, being a better listener, being more patient.

Takeaway: we all need to commit everyday to setting a personal best.

Prayers for this coach, his family, all those suffering in hospitals and C-Bus family members.

Naked Man Moleskin

Thanks to all of the PAX that showed up on my VQ and have supported me over the past 60 days.

Sparky: thanks for your 6 and for finding my cellphone. Appreciate your assistance leading up to this. Finally, appreciate you throwing around the pigskin before the workout..helped YHC burn off some nervous energy!

Smokey: thanks for helping Sparky find my cellphone!

Webelos: appreciate you bringing me out 60 days ago and for being a leader in F3.

Snots/Olaf: Appreciate the fellowship and encouragement in the lead up to my VQ. I needed it!
